This trilingual publication aims to inform and spark interest in the Goryani resistance movement in Bulgaria, particularly in the Sliven region. The movement emerged as a protest against the establishment of a communist regime modeled on the Soviet system.
The book commemorates the 70th anniversary of the suppression of the earliest mass anti-communist armed uprising in Europe and was published with the financial support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation – Bulgaria.

This bilingual publication (Bulgarian-English) provides a detailed study of three unique items from the collection of the Regional History Museum – Sliven, each depicting the mythical animal.
Published with the financial support of the Municipal Culture Fund – Sliven, the book aims to promote the ring with a hippocamp, the gilded silver rhyton with a centaur protome, and the rhyton with a rooster’s body and a horse’s head, all preserved in the museum.
